A Huge Thank You

21st January 2020

Larne Foodbank, Christians Against Poverty and the Salvation Army are so grateful to all the churches, schools, youth groups, businesses and individuals who donated food or money towards the Christmas Hampers. Thanks to your generosity we had enough food and toiletries to pack 230 wonderful boxes.
Thanks also to the teams of volunteers who wrapped the boxes, packed the hampers. The hampers were most appreciated by all who received them. One recipient who phoned up to say thank you, said they had just opened their hamper and it contained exactly what they needed. Another was overcome at the kindness shown. The hampers contained basic food and toiletry items as well as a number of luxuries that made such a difference to so many and thanks go to all in our community who made it possible.
We would like to thank all those individual members of the local community who either donated money or supplied us with items for our hampers and the organisations below who organised collections, donated money or helped with packing.
