The theme for the AGM of Larne Foodbank on Thurs 11th May was: Aim 2020, when our vision and aims for the next 3 years were highlighted.
Guest speaker, George Gillespie from Volunteer Now has had regular links with Larne Foodbank – helping to guide our thinking around supporting volunteers.
At the AGM he reminded us of the value of volunteering, both for the organisation and the community.
Alex Munro who chairs the Management Committee outlined the membership of the committee prior to us voting for 5 volunteer representatives. Then Catherine Lynas, our Administrator, gave the Financial report
As well as the formal business, there was an opportunity for plenty of chat.
